Credit level: F6
Additional Information   Only available to law students

Description

This module develops the student's understanding of the general concepts of the law of property with particular reference to land law. The module further examines the nature of property rights (Equity and Trusts) and applies the student's knowledge and understanding of these in the broader structure of land law. The module will primarily consider the system of registered titles to land (as these now comprise the vast bulk of titles to land), and, within this framework, co-ownership, trusts of land, mortgages, and commercial interests (including easements and restrictive covenants) will be considered. There is also an overview of unregistered titles.
